What is a notebook?
A binder, spiral notebook, or whatever you please—just a place where you can put all of your TaeKwon-Do notes.

Why do I need one?
First, and foremost: Flyers requires one. An instructor will often ask to look through it to see if you are paying attention and learning. Secondly, it will be your lifesaver. Whether by reminding you of how to do a certain sparring technique or by helping you to teach a green belt his/her Ho Sin Sul, you will need it.

I just started—does Flyers really expect a white belt to have a notebook?
No, you don't have to worry about it...yet. Probably around yellow belt or so is when you will need to get working. But it can't hurt to jot down something interesting when you hear it.

What should I put in it?
Well, first head on over to the Fundamentals. After that, read through the Notebook Tips.
