Flyer's TaeKwon-Do

Colored belt testings are held every 3 months here at Flyer's, and are usually on Saturday mornings. Your testing papers should be turned in a month ahead of time, or you will have to wait for the next testing. Makeup testings are usually held two weeks after the normal date.

What will you be tested on at testing? Everything you've learned thus far. That means, if you are a blue belt, don't think you just have to know blue belt material—you have to know everything from white belt level to blue. (This should be the case anyway, but for some us, life can get a little busy.)

Your patterns should be in tip-top shape. These are the most important thing you will be tested on because they are the extent of your discipline. Don't forget to have 5 step-sparring routines that are sharp and smart, and to read the required information up to your belt level. The required information can be found in the white book, which covers all of the required material from 9th gup to 1st gup (low white belt to high red belt).

Most of all, relax. Mrs. Reddick would not let you test unless she knew you would pass.
